Works great up to approximately 45w, as I tried using higher wattage devices and only got 12v 3a max, 45w. Multiple devices split the power. For this application, it will suffice as 22.5w shared between modern magsafe charging devices is realized. Would love for an updated version that goes up to truly 65w through the car’s power, but I believe this may be a vehicle limitation. 2024 HW4 Model Y AWD Austin build

Thank you for the detailed testing and feedback! 🙌 You’re correct—the vehicle’s factory wireless charging circuit is likely the limiting factor here. While the 4-Way module itself supports up to 65W with sufficient input power, it can only output what the Tesla charging circuit can supply.

One small clarification: 12V × 3A is actually 36W (15V × 3A would be 45W). Also, for our intended application with two MagSafe chargers, the ~22.5W is available **per charger**, not 22.5W shared between both chargers. Power will still be distributed based on the connected devices and their negotiated charging requirements.

Getting a true 65W output would likely require powering the module from a higher-capacity circuit rather than Tesla’s factory wireless charging connector. Really appreciate you testing this on your 2024 HW4 Model Y AWD and sharing the results—it helps provide valuable real-world data for this setup! 🙌
